What is it?
Mystery Event is our community gathering—part performance, part connection, part celebration. You’ll experience dance + poetry moments, gentle participation (if you want!), and a night that moves from “watching” into “being in it”… without revealing everything.
This fifth edition is extra special: An interdisciplinary community performance in Edinburgh, blending Spoken word, Dance and Music in a vibrant in-person + online (hybrid) format.
Dress Code (gentle):
Come as you are—wear whatever feels comfortable and a little bit special.

What to expect (without spoilers):
A performance inspired by climate awareness and the feeling of disconnection from nature, Enchanted Forest uses storytelling to spark care, agency and hope — without preaching. The performance is shaped by forest folklore and nature spirits drawn from the cultural roots of our community (including Finland, Scotland, South Africa, Spain, Italy and Hong Kong). You’ll meet mythic figures brought to life through expressive choreography, powerful spoken word and an evolving soundscape.
A simple line dance we’ll learn together
Social circle connection moments
DJ + open dance floor to close the night.
Disclaimer: No under 18s in the venue, but under 18s are welcome to join online.
This is not a traditional show. The full programme isn’t revealed in advance — the “mystery” invites you to arrive curious, open-minded and ready to experience something enchanted in real time. Participation is always optional, consent-based and welcoming.
