The Miracle Seeds are a five piece anomaly, based in Glasgow, but each hailing from different corners of Scotland, originally coming together for their shared love of psych and garage rock.
Shortly after its release in 2021, their debut album Inca Missiles saw them harness a global cult following thanks to its unique combination of sixties psychedelia with fuzzy guitars and a range of unusual instruments (harps, didgeridoos and sitars to name a few).
In 2025 they released their sophomore album Nuclear Watermelon, which showcased the bands eclectic tastes – one moment you are in a bossa nova dreamland, the next you are blasted off into an intense krautrock jam.
The sound of their upcoming third record leans in a new, deliberate direction: fast and heavy, reflecting the claustrophobic nature of life in the 2020’s. Influence from records like Songs for the Deaf and OK Computer can be heard, but the heavy use of synthesisers gives the songs an identity of their own.
On their run of Scottish headline shows this spring, The Miracle Seeds embrace weirdness, improvisation and a different setlist for each show. For fans of Ty Segall, King Gizzard, and Psychedelic Porn Crumpets.
