DESCRIPTION:The story of Reinhardt Buhr’s musical journey is one of transformation\, inspiration\, and devotion. \nAt the age of 19\, a friend’s newfound passion for the guitar spurred him on to pursue it himself. He discovered the flamenco guitar a year in and almost immediately landed his first little local gig. As a result of his natural talent\, he was able to form a band that successfully toured all across the country in a very short amount of time. \nReinhardt started out with playing the guitar to adding various instruments to his live set like: Electric cello\, didgeridoo\, piano\, drums\, hang drum\, shofar\, electric saxophone and much more! However\, Reinhardt’s rise in the music scene was accompanied by a descent into a dark periodof substance abuse\, leaving him disconnected from his true self and from his surroundings. It was only after reaching a profound low that Reinhardt turned to God for help. In 2016\, Reinhardt and his wife experienced a life-changing spiritual awakening that marked the beginning of their healing and salvation journey. He shifted from seeking fame and fortune to dedicating his entire music to playing for God as a result of this transformation. DESCRIPTION:Known for his arresting\, husky vocals and gritty\, blues-infused pop/rock\, Dan Owen is a British alternative singer/songwriter from Shropshire\, England. \nOwen became interested in music at an early age\, taking up guitar at nine years old and performing with his sister\, who had taken up singing. Their Dad encouraged them to perform at open-mike events at local pubs throughout their teens. After his sister left for University\, Owen took to performing solo and began appearing at live events at various pubs and clubs throughout the area surrounding Shropshire. Performing under the name “Bluesboy Dan”\, he gradually earned a committed fan base with his passionate versions of songs by artists such as Robert Johnson and John Lee Hooker while also focusing on writing his own material. \nIn 2012 an online video of the young guitarist performing Bob Dylan’s “The Ballad of Hollis Brown” began to generate widespread attention. After a couple more years of relentless performing in which he began to include his own songs\, he was signed to Atlantic Records in 2015 and put out his debut EP\, Bad for Me\, later that year. In 2016 he put out his second EP\, Open Hands & Enemies\, before a European tour with Birdy as support act. \nHe then spent 2017 writing and recording his debut full-length effort. The album — titled Stay Awake with Me — arrived in August 2018. Owen promoted the record with a U.K. and European tour that fall. Dan has toured UK and Europe with the likes of Kaleo\, Alice Merton\, Tall Heights\, Seafret\, 2 tours with Birdy\, a full US tour with Blanco White\, other supports from Manfred Man\, Valarie Dune\, Paul Jones\, Brian Adams and our very own Wille and the Bandits. \nThe second album from the Shrewsbury troubadour landed on Nov 24th. The Willow Tree is Dan Owen’s most honest and real music to date. DESCRIPTION:Ashley Campbell\, daughter of country legend Glen Campbell began her career playing banjo and keyboard in her father’s band on several world tours and has found success as a solo artist in the country/Americana music scene; most notably with her debut single “Remembering” which she wrote for her father and is featured on the Grammy award winning and Oscar nominated album for the documentary Glen Campbell: I’ll Be Me. \nHer original music has taken her all over the world\, from China to Japan\, to the main-stage at London’s O2 Arena to opening for Kris Kristofferson\, the Bellamy Brothers as well as playing at Carnegie Hall with songwriting legend Jimmy Webb. \nWith two internationally acclaimed solo albums under her belt\, her forthcoming third album Goodnight Nashville is set for release in June 2025. In 2023 Ashley released a collaborative album\, Turtle Cottage\, with Thor Jensen as the duo Campbell Jensen. DESCRIPTION:Liverpool originals China Crisis have always made music that’s far easier to love than to define. For more than four decades now Gary Daly and Eddie Lundon\, collectively better known as China Crisis\, have been writing and performing some of the most distinctive\, catchy and sophisticated pop songs out there\, from “Wishful Thinking”\, “Black Man Ray”\, and “King in a Catholic Style” to “Christian”\, “Arizona Sky” and “Down Here on Earth”. \nThe band originally emerged in 1981 from their native Kirkby as the songwriting duo of vocalist/keyboardist Daly and guitarist/vocalist Lundon\, who have been working together ever since. Citing influences as varied as Brian Eno\, Davie Bowie\, Stevie Wonder\, Eric Satie and Talking Heads\, it’s not surprising that their sound was quickly distinguishable amongst their peers\, combining synthpop with reggae\, country and other styles with their own unique melodies and harmonies to create distinctively sophisticated but catchy pop in a style all its own. Their 2024 release China Greatness (featuring elevated\, cinematic new arrangements of the \nsongwriters’ own favourite tracks from across their catalogue\, and mixed by multiple-Grammy award winner Mark Phythian) peaked in the album charts at record-setting levels for the band\, and their recent tours around the globe have served to both build the loyalty of existing fans and entice new legions of ardent new followers in the process. DESCRIPTION:The Icicle Works were formed in 1981 by Robert Ian McNabb of Kensington\, Liverpool. \nThe original line-up; McNabb\, Chris Layhe and Chris Sharrock scored big with their first album in 1984 which yielded the hit singles ‘Love Is A Wonderful Colour’ (#15 UK chart) and ‘Birds Fly (Whisper To A Scream)’ – which was a Top 30 single in the Billboard chart. \nThey had four Top 40 UK albums which contained a run of classic 45s; ‘Hollow Horse’\, ‘Understanding Jane’\, ‘Who Do You Want For Your Love’\, ‘Evangeline’\, ‘When It All Comes Down’\, ‘Little Girl Lost’ and ‘High Time’. \nMcNabb is considered one of the best singer/songwriters of his generation. His fearlessness\, range of styles and particularly his oft-radical eclecticism sets him apart from many of his contemporaries. \nIn 1990 McNabb recorded the final album to bear the Icicle Works name ‘Permanent Damage’. \nIn 1991 McNabb began a successful solo career – releasing many highly-regarded albums including ‘Head Like A Rock’ which was nominated for the 1994 Mercury Prize. His last single Let The Young Girl Do What She Wants To reached #29 in 2005. He has recently released his 26th studio album ‘If It Wasn’t For The Music’. \nAlongside his ongoing solo work he has worked with Ringo Starr\, The Waterboys\, Neil Young and Crazy Horse and the Lightning Seeds amongst others. \nBirds Fly (Whisper To A Scream) was featured in ‘Stranger Things’ (Netflix) which introduced McNabb’s work to a new generation. \nSince 2006 McNabb has regularly taken The Icicle Works out on the live circuit with Roy Corkill (bass)\, Richard Naiff (keys) and Nick Kilroe (drums). \nRoy Corkill sadly passed away aged 60 in 2024. \nThe current line-up is Ian McNabb\, Richard Naiff and Nick Kilroe. \n“We felt a power-trio was the way to go. I cannot replace my close friend and musical confidant Roy\, Richard will play bass with his left hand. We’re back to being a Prog/New Wave outfit. We started as a three-piece and it feels right to return to that configuration. It’s a full circle – a full icicle! Everyone has to work harder … the results will be electric.
